A gift of two sheep started this farm adventure.

Wool & Feather Farm is a small fiber farm located just east of Colfax Wisconsin. Our farm is currently home to a flock 37 Shetland sheep. We raise our Shetlands as naturally as possible, as they are rotationally grazed on pasture during the summer months and enjoy hay during the winter. Access to mineral blocks and dried sea kelp help ensure they are growing the best quality fiber. We truly see that the healthier our sheep are, the more fabulous their fiber.
We offer yarns, hand woven goods and finished fiber products; all crafted here on the farm. Known for their colorful fiber and patterns, our sheep produce a wide range of natural colors in rich blacks, browns, grays and creams. No dyes are used, just the wonderful, natural colors of our sheep.

 We provide quality fibers to local makers and doers, 
within a 175 mile radius of Minneapolis Minnesota. 

Livestock Conservancy member
Our little sheep are currently on The Livestock Conservancy’s recovering list. 
We participate in the "Shave ‘Em to Save 'Em" program.
